Library

Students are engaged in “active learning” because the College has an impressive library with a collection of innumerable books covering important subjects, journals and encyclopaedias. The College has automated its library and its services using an open source and Integrated Library Management Software (ILMS) Koha. Students get access to books through the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) across the network in the College. Reprographic support is available in the library. The library has a Book Bank facility. A collection of Local Newspapers is being maintained.

Computer Room

With the requirement of the modern system of education, the College implements ICT in day to day teaching with free internet facilities, audio-visual system, digital cameras etc.

Teaching Aid Room

Teaching Aid Room provides students’ creative ideas to work out manually for the implementation of low-cost and no-cost teaching aids for their teaching.

Multi purpose hall

The Multi-purpose hall is designed to serve more than one purpose for which College activities are carried out frequently like Morning Assembly, Paper Presentation, Meetings etc.

Psychological Lab

Apparatus, Manuals for psychological testing and observations are conducted in this room which can accommodate 20 students at a time.

Science Lab

The Science Laboratory is so designed to accommodate science students to carry out their theory classes and experiments when necessary with experimental facilities.

Auditorium

The College has the Auditorium with Audio Visual facilities that can accommodate 200 participants for various programmes.

Edusat Room

With the introduction of the EDUSAT NETWORK by the ISRO in the state, it is expected that this distance mode learning through the Satellites Interactive Terminals SIT’s will facilitate learning at different levels of education. The Directorate of Educational Research and Training being the hub, links up with our College as one of the SITs (Satellite Interactive Terminals) located Shillong Region.

Canteen

The college has well-furnished Canteen that provides eatables for our staff and students at the nominal rate to meet their thirst and hunger. The college canteen provides platform for the students beside meeting their thirst and hunger, to discuss topic of current interest involving themselves into activities such as group discussion, personality development and communication skills.
